Starting November 1, 2011 $2 from each and every Whimsical Series painting will be donated directly to World Wildlife Fund Canada (WWF) www.wwf.ca. Their mission is to conserve nature and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on Earth.

For 50 years, WWF has been protecting the future of nature. The world’s leading conservation organization, WWF works in 100 countries and is supported by close to 5 million members globally. WWF’s unique way of working combines global reach with a foundation in science, involves action at every level from local to global and ensures the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature.

I only use the highest quality, professional products when creating all my artwork. Ensuring that these paintings can be passed down to future generations. I support WWF to help ensure that the animals in the paintings are also around for future generations to enjoy.

welcome home - commission door project complete

On Monday, October 31 I finished the commission door project for Ann Shannon in the Marda Loop SW area. I have created a mural on three of the exterior doors to her lovely home. The front door, back door and a side, shed door.

Kitchen cupboard commission painting

This month I finished a kitchen cupboard commission painting for Barbara Ross. This was quite a challenge considering not only the creation of artwork but then varnishing it properly so that it could be a functional piece in the kitchen. The Country Flowers add to the charm of the happy yellow space.

Commission Door Project

I’ve spent the majority of this past week working on a commission project for Ann Shannon in the Marda Loop SW area. I created three paintings on the three exterior doors of her lovely home. I still need to return and varnish the paintings on Monday. More images to come.

Utility box project all finished

On Saturday, September 24, 2011 I finished the third and final painted utility box! Located at 22 Street & 33 Ave SW. This smaller box only took me 2 days to complete.
