One of the best parts about the human experience is that we all have stories to tell. We’re attracted to art that evokes an emotion, a memory, or a thought — something relatable. While many of my collectors have bonded with the characters I have created over the years, there has always been an extra special spot for each custom painting I have done.
I interpret your subject using my stained glass style, to make a fun, vibrant painting that is important to you, and a fixture in your home. During the process, I will provide email updates to you, ensuring you are 110% happy with your custom artwork.
- Photo Reference
To make sure I capture the essence of each person, place, or thing, I will need 2-3 high-resolution photos (if applicable). Good, clear photography allows me to be more accurate in giving your picture a whimsical new look.
- Simple Pencil Sketches
I will provide you with a minimum of two different sketched drafts once the process has begun. You let me know which option you would prefer before proceeding.
- Diagram of Color Placement
This diagram lists the colors and their respective places. This is your time to provide feedback before the actual piece is created, if you wish.
Once you have approved the sketches, I will begin painting the piece, and provide progress updates to you via email.
- The Moment It’s Finished
Next I’ll send you a picture or scanned image of the painting before it’s framed. This allows a more accurate display of the colors before it’s protected behind glass.
- Artwork in Action
The last photo I send you will be the finished piece perfectly framed, before I carefully package and ship it to your front door. Now, the hardest part is waiting for the package to come in the mail!
